HIGH KIRK DUNOON
CHANCEL
The Chancel was constructed and the transepts added around 1900 giving the church its present cruciform shape. The organ in the High Kirk is a three-manualViscount digital instrument installed in December 2009.Its specification of 57 stops, together with an impressive range of pistons and other accessories, ensures the organ's versatility in accompanying congregational singing and as a recital instrument
PIANOS: A Roland digital piano was acquired in 2004. This is an excellent resource for accompanying some of the new styles of music utilised in today's worship. A second Roland digital piano was acquired in 2006 for use in St Cuthbert's Chapel.

Chancel Window History
The window was gifted to the church by Mr and Mrs Robert McDougall, at one time well known confectioners in the town, and very active members of the church. The gift was made on the condition that the donors remained anonymous for a period of ten years. The window, which was made by Douglas Hamilton, was dedicated on Sunday, 7th October, 1939. In 1999 it was completely refurbished and restored by specialist glaziers, McKee of Paisley and at the same time the mullions were repaired.
CHANCEL WINDOW
The window depicts a familiar scene from the Gospel where Jesus is seen holding a baby while gesturing towards a mother who is kneeling as she offers her child to him. The words "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven" is written underneath.
