Auxiliary Minister Rev Ruth Griffiths

Ruth came to Dunoon in 1986 and shortly after became a member of Dunoon Old & St. Cuthbert’s Church.
She became heavily involved in Church activities and notably in the editorship of the Kirk News.
She was ordained into the Eldership and later embarked on study for the Certificate of Theology and Religious Studies through Glasgow University.
Full time Ministry for Ruth was not an option, however, she was accepted to Auxiliary Ministry.
Ordained in October 2004 she assisted the Rev David Anderson, then the Rev. A. Jones in the charges of South East Cowal and the parishes contained therein.
