Minister: Aileen M. Robson BD

.Ordained in 2003, Aileen was inducted to the Charge of South East Cowal in September, 2011.

From 1996 to 2000 she studied at New College, University of Edinburgh, graduating

Bachelor of Divinity ( Hons.)

She came to Ministry via the nursing profession and four years with the Church of Scotland as Mission Partner in Malawi. Her probationary period was with Edinburgh Presbytery at South Leith Parish Church following which she served as part-time Chaplain as to H.M. Prison Edinburgh.

Aileen was called to the linked charge of Coalburn with Lesmahagow Old Parish Church in 2003 and remained there until she accepted the call to Dunoon: The High Kirk linked with Innellan and Toward.

In her spare time she enjoys photography and handcrafts as well as walking her dogs.

Auxiliary Minister Rev Ruth Griffiths

Ruth came to Dunoon in 1986 and shortly after became a member of Dunoon
Old & St. Cuthbert’s Church.
She became heavily involved in Church activities and notably in the editorship
of the Kirk News.
She was ordained into the Eldership and later embarked on study for the
Certificate of Theology and Religious Studies through Glasgow University.
Full time Ministry for Ruth was not an option, however, she was accepted to
Auxiliary Ministry.
Ordained in October 2004 she assisted the Rev David Anderson, then the rev. M. Jones in the charges
of South East Cowal and the parishes contained therein
